Digital Media Specialist

ABOUT ME

As a doctoral student in strategic communications, I am on top of my game with strategies to increase click throughs, visits, and shares with websites and all social media platforms.

I have four years of educational experience working with non-profit and for-profit organizations creating successful Google AdWords campaigns and communication plans. The communication plans include event communications, crisis communication, digital media communications.

Professionally, I have created and maintained church websites, personal websites, and my own blog site. I have also updated the Facebook site for my church's International Volunteer in Mission (VIM) committee and group as well as my own social media platforms.

I have always loved working in communications since my first communications class as an undergraduate student. As I continued my studies in communications, I was introduced to new media and marketing. I then fell in love with new media which includes digital and social media. I seem to excel at storytelling through social media. While working on projects for non-profit organizations over the past four years, I enjoyed creating stories across their social media platforms that lead back to their home page of the non-profit's website.

Engaging the visitor to lead them back to the home page of a website is thrilling to watch through analytical software. It lets me know that my story was interesting enough to bring them to the main website. Having this skill is a gift that I love having. This gift also builds as well as maintains relationships.
I have a knack for building and retaining great relationships that start with building and great websites and social media platforms. These stories create brand awareness for clients. My goal is to create brand awareness for my clients based on the client's goals, mission and vision by creating trust through honesty and transparency communications. My work helps clients achieve their goals.
